Sandra Shmith and Dominique Burgoine founded the label, Demi ds in 2019.

The idea was initially to produce a small, refined collection of silk shirts in beautiful colours. In time the have added beautifully tailored cotton and linen pieces and just recently begun working with denim. They employ the expertise of the best pattern makers and graders in Melbourne to perfect the fit, then the pieces are tailor made by a family owned and run business in Hong Kong.

The collection falls into the category of demi-couture. Combining quality fabrics with a tailors attention to detail in limited editions. demi ds also makes reference to their initials.
